It sure has been a long time since i've posted anything on here, but i've been busy! After graduation, I started my summer classes so I could get my degree (history, economics and spanish...all because I switched majors back in the day).
I've been taking a few freelance jobs, events, weddings and the like to keep my camera clicking and to make a few extra bucks here and there. But other than that, I've been working for JENESIS Magazine. I finished up my internship with them and now Im a staff photographer. There is no pay yet, but its a cool gig, and eventually, we should be getting a little something.
Which leads me to the photos below. This September, JENESIS Magazine is doing its annual photography issue where it showcases the works of its photographers, as well as others and compiles them in an issue that is only photography. I will be getting about 15-20 pages for a photo story I am doing on BMX.
For the issue, we needed to take a self portrait as well as submit a little biography about ourselves. These images were all shot by me and are for consideration of the image I will use for my portrait.
Im really getting into this whole strobist thing...
Enjoy!

Hi K-Man, welcome back...I thought maybe you moved to the Ukraine. Love the "strobist-like" portraits. Great job. Hope those cheap bas, er, I mean, frugal employers, start paying you! Hope you have a productive and fun summer! Hey, come and visit the farm sometime. U-D 62
Hey Kev,
Nice strobe work! If you want any advice, I like the second one, crouched over the double yellow line. The one under the bridge is nice too. Glad to see you're back and that you became a follower of jmoran111 even before I announced it! Okay, I did show Greg and Dennis and one or two others, but it's only been up for a few days. Sounds like you have a busy summer. Good luck with completing those courses.
